Summary

Over Fifteen years of experience in Project Services with an emphasis in CPM planning and scheduling in both engineering FEED and on-shore and off-shore construction planning.  I am experienced in the development of integrated EPC schedules and proficient in the use of Primavera P6, MS Project, Acumen FUSE and Microsoft desktop software.  

Experience

2012-Current     BP, Houston, TX/Gulf of Mexico – (December 2012-Current)

         Lead Construction Planner/Scheduler – Mad Dog Fabric Maintenance Program. 

Developed an approved resource loaded CPM Schedule for the B.P. Mad Dog Fabric Maintenance Project (facility painting program).  Responsibilities also include issuing daily progress reports and the development and maintenance of weekly progress curves and the issue of the daily schedule for use in off-shore execution.   

                     Off-Shore Construction Planner – Thunder Horse Water Injection

Developed an approved level 5 resource loaded CPM Schedule for the Thunder Horse Water Injection Construction Project.  Reviews of work packages were held with the off-shore execution team to ensure the correct logic, duration and sequence of work packages were reflected in the plan so that a realistic and cost effective execution schedule was developed.  Responsibilities off-shore included developing a 21 day work scope window by facilitating logic reviews with on-site construction superintendents and construction managers.  Manpower histograms by craft were issued weekly to ensure craft requirements for the week will be met.  A daily report of daily planned vs. daily actual man hours was also issued to the on-shore management team to ensure the construction schedule is being executed as planned.

 

2011-2012

Chevron, Houston, TX – (June 2011-December 2012)

Planner/Scheduler - Wheatstone LNG

Reviewed and performed schedule analysis on contractor schedule during the FEED schedule development stage.  Assisted the contractor in the development of the project wide WBS as well as project plans, procedures and scheduling controls strategy.  Performed validation checks against contractor critical path in support of schedule risks analysis.  Provided input and support for preparation and implementation of project progress measurement and reporting systems and assisted in bi-weekly and monthly reporting on schedule performance.  

 

2008 – 2011

 

Worley Parsons, Houston, TX – (January 2008-June 2011)

Sr. Planner/Scheduler - Sakhalin 1 Topsides FEED/EP

Developed and maintained the FEED, detailed design and procurement of the topsides production and drilling deck using P6.  Performed bi-weekly updates with discipline leads to ensure the schedule and project milestones were being met as per the plan.  Responsibilities also included being a companywide P6 project database P6 administrator. 

Sr. Planner/Scheduler - Sinclair Expansion Project

Developed and maintained a master FEED, Detail Design & Construction schedule of over 10 engineering and construction licensors using P5 and P3.  A global dictionary of code values was developed and distributed to the different licensors to use so that integration of the different Primavera files into one master file was possible. Interactive planning secessions were held with the different contractors so that logic ties between contractor files could be made and a critical path could be developed.  Updated contractor files were sent in bi-weekly and the master schedule would be updated and analysed for accuracy.

 

2006 - 2008

URS Process & Energy, Houston, TX (May 2006-Jan.2008)

Lead Planner/Scheduler - Small Capital Projects Group 

Developed the P5 database, resource library and template schedules to be used on all small capital projects.  Facilitated interactive planning secession with project and construction managers to develop resource loaded engineering and construction schedules.  Established baselines and manpower curves to manage URS engineering resources.    

 

2002 - 2006

Jacobs Engineering, Houston, TX (June 2002-November 2005)

Lead Planner/Scheduler - Lyondell Equistar Alliance

Developed companywide P5 database, WBS structure and resource library to convert all project files from P3 to P5.  Developed resource loaded engineering and construction schedules using P3 & P5. Facilitated interactive planning secessions with project engineers, managers and group leads.  Integrated inter-discipline schedule requirements and restraints to establish logic work sequences and to ensure compliance with project execution plans and department scheduling standards.  Provided level 1,2 and 3 detail schedules for tracking contractors progress and established critical path method sequences.  Performed earned value analysis and issued monthly status reports to clients and management.    

Planner/Scheduler – Flint Hills Resources; Low Sulfur Gasoline Program

Developed an approved construction and start-up schedule for the Low Sulfur Gasoline Unit using P3.  Coordinated with construction superintendents, field engineers and start up teams the logical work sequences of construction activities as well as system turnovers.  Monitored subcontractor progress and equipment deliveries to the field to ensure project milestones were on target.

Project Controls Representative – Buckman Waste Water Facility, Jacksonville Fl.

Developed the procurement, construction and start-up schedule of the new waste water facility using P3.  Facilitated schedule and logic review meetings with superintendents and equipment representatives to ensure realistic schedule targets were set.    Managed the cost and schedule of all small capital projects.  Issued bi-weekly progress curves to ensure the construction/procurement schedule was being executed as planned. 

Turnaround & Maintenance Planner – Houston, TX.

Developed turnaround schedules and daily maintenance schedules for Chevron Phillips and Rohm & Haas Deer park facilities using P3.  Maintained a master schedule of small capital projects. Facilitated daily shutdown meetings to ensure the proper work scope was being executed.  .  Estimated budget man hours and material requirements for small capital projects.  Developed and submitted daily and weekly progress curves
